About the program
A dynamic and interactive presentation starting with a simplified 10-minute video that covers the entire history of the universe (from its origin to our current climate/global warming). The video will be paused every 1 to 1.5 minutes and students will have activities to test what they have learnt in that minute or so, with additional comments from UTAS academics to encourage discussions with students.
Students will also be shown some fossils and rocks.
Dr. Francisco Testa's most recent article on The Conversation titled "What Earth’s 4.54 billion-year history would look like in a single year” provides a more in-depth discussion on the topic.
