About the program
The Australian Maritime College is offering a free in-class interactive "Global Logistics Chocolate Challenge" to Years 9, 10 and 11 classes across Northern Tasmania. The 45-minute session is delivered in your school by visiting AMC Educators and University Student Ambassadors.
During the workshop, students will solve a global business logistics problem of managing the international import and export of chocolates to the customer!
During the workshop, our AMC Educators and Student Ambassadors cover:
- How international businesses manage imports/exports
- How to understand global forces impacting business decisions
- Exciting career opportunities in logistics and maritime management
- Study opportunities through UTAS and AMC
This free workshop, tailored for Years 9-11 Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and Legal Studies classes, brings the Bachelor of Global Logistics and Maritime Management to life and showcases incredible career opportunities in logistics. Available now for high schools and colleges in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, and nearby areas.
