Our Study Tours offer an opportunity for students to engage in a short-term international experience that will improve English language competency and cross-cultural understanding, all whilst providing unforgettable experiences in a unique part of Australia. Tasmania has so much to offer.

Study Tour options

We offer the following study tours, as well as other customised options:

Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Study Tour

Explore sustainability while improving your English language skills with our Sustainable Development Goals Study Tour. This immersive program combines classroom learning with hands-on experiences in Tasmania’s sustainable industries and community initiatives. Through industry tours, field trips, and community engagement activities, students will gain valuable insights into sustainable business practices and environmental conservation. The tour also offers the opportunity to engage with key schools and disciplines at UTAS, with a fully customisable, modular structure tailored to specific learning goals.

General English and English for Academic Purposes

Immerse yourself and learn about the natural beauty and ecology of Tasmania while developing and improving your general English or academic English language skills. Our Tasmania themed courses connect your learning to the unique Tasmanian environment, providing a language immersion experience that extends beyond the classroom.

English by Nature

Experience and learn about Tasmania’s stunning natural environment through themed excursions and classes on conservation, environment, recreation, and local produce.

Customised to suit your group (generally 4-12 weeks)
Study Tours are not available as a principle course for student visa holders.
