The Digital Management in Health and Social Care - Discovering the Potential of Digital Health microcredential has been developed in partnership with the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and several national industry experts.

This collaboration ensures that the microcredential learning aligns not only to priority national skills development needs but also to national digital management competency frameworks that will directly benefit learners in the workplace.

This microcredential has been designed to equip those interested in or currently working in the Australian health industry to develop their digital health capability and ensure the effective management of data within our health system, including in relation to health and healthcare, digital technologies and electronics, records, documentation, reports and research.

This opportunity would be ideal for those employees working in the acute, aged, community, social or primary care sectors of the Australian health industry across a breadth of functions (including clinical and administrative professionals, as well as current and aspiring health service managers) that engage in the organising of, or engagement with health information.  The microcredential will consist of learning across the following five areas:

  1. Digital health foundations
  2. Frameworks for successful digital health implementation
  3. Good practice in digital health data management
  4. Making sense of digital health data
  5. Health information and data governance.

This microcredential is offered fully online, enabling you to engage in the learning at your own pace.
