About HYPE Program

At the University of Tasmania, we encourage students to take part in a diverse range of physical activities offered at significantly reduced rates, ensuring accessibility for everyone. Our HYPE program is designed to introduce you to new and exciting opportunities beyond traditional sports, helping you find activities that match your personal interests.

By participating, you’ll not only enhance your physical health but also build self-confidence and resilience. Our inclusive and welcoming environment makes it easy to meet and connect with fellow students, fostering meaningful social networks that enrich your university experience.

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Rock Climbing
  • Surfing
  • Sailing
  • Paintball
  • Self Defence
