Our SW-CARES clinics are embedded in government, community and private organisations to provide our students with a ‘real world’ learning experience as part of their training and transition to practice. We bring together the needs of our students and partner organisations to enhance service outcomes that positively impact individuals, their families, and the community more broadly
With onsite supervision from qualified and experienced social workers in the field education team, we provide opportunities for students to develop evidence-based practice and treatments.
Our on-Campus Clinic provides students a unique environment to develop interpersonal, group and family therapy skills within a professional practice setting. SW-CARES Virtual provides telehealth services to rural and remote communities.
SW-CARES is committed to supporting our partner organisations with capacity building, workforce development and creating pathways for future social worker employment.
