With community pharmacy in Australia undergoing a transition, more pharmacists are moving into clinical environments – either alongside general practitioners or running chronic disease management programs.

These new roles, with more patient-focused primary care, require community pharmacists to have robust clinical knowledge and an understanding of pharmacotherapeutics at an advanced level.

While upgrading your qualifications, you’ll meet the evolving health industry needs for better patient-focused care, and maintain a healthy work, life and study balance.

Broaden your career options and become more self-assured with this four-unit, fully-online course, which will equip you with the latest knowledge and skills in Pharmacotherapeutics and Quality Improvement related project management.

This course provides an opportunity for registered pharmacists, particularly those from rural and remote areas, to develop clinical pharmacy skills and qualifications in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice research.

This course will enhance your ability as a registered pharmacist, to contribute to the quality use of medicines and to improve your critical analysis and clinical decision-making skills. You will undertake a practice-based research project providing you with the opportunity to conduct truly transformative research under the guidance of staff from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
