The course will equip you with a high level of understanding of the maritime industry and provide the foundation to undertake middle and senior management positions after graduating.

The MBA in Maritime Management provides a unique educational experience focusing on an applied approach to the maritime industry, centred on strategic and analytical thinking. The MBA offers learning outcomes focused on industry needs by applying business principles, such as management and finance, to the maritime industry and a strategic perspective to international issues relating to maritime management.

This course may be completed in as little as 1.5 years for those who have completed study or work experience in a related area.

Our 3 specialisations are designed to allow you to explore the theory and practice of business logistics and supply chain management, business operations, and technology in the maritime industry:

The Maritime Logistics specialisation will provide you with an MBA qualification that equips you for managerial careers in business logistics and supply chain management in the context of the maritime industry. The specialisation consists of 4 units: port management and strategy, international trade, business logistics, and supply chain management.

This specialisation is designed to provide engineering professionals with an MBA qualification to develop their management careers in the maritime industry. Your studies will focus on the application of technology in the maritime industry and consist of 4 units: design of marine machinery systems, principles of naval architecture, marine surveying and inspection, and marine superintendency.

The Shipping Operations specialisation is designed to provide professionals working in the maritime industry with an MBA qualification to advance their management careers. The specialisation aims to expand your understanding of shipping operations and related fields while further developing your managerial skills. Gain advanced shipping operations knowledge through 4 specialisation units: maritime safety, marine surveying and inspection, port management and strategy, and harbour operations and services.
