Project details
Architectural practitioners operating in regional Australia have, through recent projects, demonstrated the importance of engaging authentically with communities and developing place-based architecture in support of local needs. These needs might include place identity, regional tourism, or other shifts that make it possible to move away from extractive economies. In this project, we research the ways that architecture, as both a practice and an outcome, can contribute to thriving regional places.
