UniGO: Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll travel in a group of 30 students. Two University of Tasmania staff members with experience in, and connections to, your destination will accompany you, along with our local partners. Students will come from across the range of courses offering the unit, making it a great way to meet new people.

Our partners will organise safe and comfortable local transport.

You’ll mostly stay in guest houses with basic shared facilities and modern, youth-hostel style single-gender dormitory accommodation.

There will be a wide variety of great food on offer. Our partners will choose eating places that cater for standard food intolerances.

Students with elective space in eligible degrees, and who have completed at least two units or 25 credit points by end of semester 1 (2024), can apply to enrol in the UniGO program. If you are unsure of whether UniGO will fit with your study plan, contact a Student Adviser via UConnect. If you have other questions about eligibility, please contact Global.Opportunity@utas.edu.au
