Hedberg
The Hedberg is one of Tasmania’s most ambitious arts projects to date. The Hedberg equips University of Tasmania students with the agility needed for contemporary communication and creative careers, and leadership. The Hedberg is a catalyst for developing new and innovative curricula offered to students from multiple disciplines across Media and Communication, Music, and Theatre and Performance,
The building houses purpose-built, soundproof and digitally-equipped rehearsal and practice rooms, an integrated multi-room recording suite, and two key performance spaces – the Recital Hall and the Salon – as well as sound-stages and broadcast capacities.
